In March, April or May of each year the Annual General Meeting is held.
Each year, a photo competition is held with the following categories: Alpine, Natural History, Tramping, Club Character and Best Overall. These are judged by an outside photographer and presented at a Club Meeting.
Our club rules are being documented in a Code of Ethics which documents the club's expectations with respect to social behaviour and environmental behaviour.
Members participate on club trips on the understanding that they are subject to the direction of the trip leader.
Firearms and dogs are not allowed on club trips.
Persons under the age of 14 years can only participate on club trips with approval of the trip leader and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Except for official club trips, all members wishing to stay at Waikato Mountain Lodge, Whakapapa, must book by mail or fax with the hut booking officer, on the hut booking form, prior to the trip.
