Sunday 11th November 2018
Hihi Route – we will go from the Kopu-Hikuai road via the Kaitarakihi Summit- Motutapere 829m and then coming out at the visitors centre in the Kauaeranga valley. There will climbing of chains and a rough track so be prepared. Up Kaitarakihi there is an old post box, the view is on the way up to this summit but hopefully from Kaitarakihi to Motutapere along the ridge we will be able to see the Coromandel coast. This will be a long day so be prepared.
