Weekend 23 - 24th February 2019
This week-end we will endeavour to complete the trips we had initially planned to do back over Queen's Birthday weekend. On that occasion we were dogged with bad weather but still managed to do about 70% of the planned short walks. This time, over the 2-day week-end, we will head up to the western Coromandel and do walks based at Coromandel. Prominent walks include Castle Rock, Opera Point, Waiau Waterfalls, Waioumu Kauri Grove, Waitaia Track and New Chums Beach.
