 Bookings and cancellations for all trips must be made by the Monday night before the trip to allow appropriate transport to be arranged. Any person withdrawing after this day without good reason will be charged the full cost of the trip.
Family Trips: If you are interested in Family orientated trips, we don't always advertise trips in the bulletin or on the website. In most cases we plan a trip every month, so make sure we have your e-mail address to add to our list. Factors such as party size fitness, weather, terrain and leadership will influence actual times so the above are estimates only. The trip committee and trip leaders can only make a 'best estimate' for trip times. Many factors can influence times on the actual trip. The party fitness may vary, and the weather can change dramatically, causing an alternative route to be taken. The leader's decisions made for all sorts of reasons, may alter the time taken. Most people have a pretty good idea of their fitness and capabilities and should find the five trip grades helpful. People new to the club probably need to find out how they stack up against the grades by doing a couple of the easier trips first. The leader can help you decide if you are up to a trip or not. Check out the party lists on display at club nights. Compare your capabilities against members known to you who have put their names down as participants on a trip you are interested in.
