Waikato Hut Bookings

The table below lists the current bookings for the Waikato hut. Please contact Lisa Janek, our hut booking officer (HBO), if you would like to make a booking. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received.

Winter is here. Check out the snowcams on www.MtRuapehu.com.
It seems like a lean snow season this year - if you are wanting to go skiing before it gets too slushy, contact the HBO and get some time on the mountain. Lets hope for a late winter storm!

The Waikato Hut pass is again available for members to purchase in 2010.
Ten nights at Waikato Hut for $190, this is valid up until 31 May 2011. Contact the HBO.

Mountain Three on September 11 is the last club trip to the mountain. If you want food & accommodation organised for you by WTC then come along. Members & non-members welcome. Bookings for M3 will be taken by the HBO.

If you are interested in taking a group to Waikato Hut in 2010, please indicate your interest EARLY by contacing the HBO as soon as possible. There are limited weekends available for large groups and these get taken quickly and the HBO has already received mid-week bookings from our regular schools.

Vacancies listed take into account all tentative and confirmed (paid) bookings. If you wish to enquire about the availability of unconfirmed bunks, please contact the HBO.

Please note: Mountain trips are official club trips with bus transport provided (from Hamilton) and food. If you wish to stay in Waikato Hut on this weekend, please contact the leader of the trip and book with them rather than the Hut Booking Officer. Preference is given first to people travelling on the bus as part of the club trip.
